Provisioning software enables activation of new subscribers and services in telecommunications network.
When operators have multi-service offerings with new features and the network contains a growing number of complex network elements and content and services platforms.
Provisioning has become an elaborated process chain, which touches on numerous network elements and application servers.

Capabilities
- Rollback
- Retry factors
- Subscriber profile
- Routing
- Multiple targets
- Duplicate operation suppression and queue prioritization
Supports
- Interface protocols: X25, Q3, CMISE, HTTP, X29,FTP
- Network element : Huawei, Siemens, Alcatel, or Ericsson
NT-Provisioning Architecture

- The Invoker Adapter’s job is to accept Orders from Invoker systems and inject them into the pMD workflow.
- Interface : HTTP and FTP.
- IIP Generator generates the IIP syntax base on orders.
- Distributor distributes response to invoker system
- The Dispatcher dispatches Networkers to process jobs which represent subscriber Orders
- Historical Subscriber Repository
- The Networker’s job is to provision a single Order for an Invoker System
- Agent Adapter is an interface to an Agent system
- The Order Worker is the last station for a Provlet
- Synchronizer allows operators to audit or rebuild the Subscriber Database directly from Operational Network Element queries
Service Provisioning Engine:
- Functions
- Receive simple services provisioning request from business applications.
- Translate and validate service request into specific NE command based on defined Service Rule and Subscriber Service Profile.
- Maintain Service Rule Repository and Subs Service Profile Repository.
- Perform and monitor service provisioning execution including error handling mechanism (e.g. rollback and retry scenario).
- Benefits
- Simplify service provisioning process flow.
- No round-trip transactional process.
- Only one request for each service to related network element.
- Uniform service logic applicable for all related business applications.
- Prevent repeated service request command.
- Flexibility in handling new/change of service.
- Flexibility in handling new/change of NE.
- Request timing and prioritization.
- Ensure subscriber profile is consistent with NE (Subs Service Profile).
- Provide reliable subscribers service data.
- Simplify service provisioning process flow.
